Stephen has been undertaking surveys of historic buildings for c.35 years. Over this period he has developed his own approach to surveying historic buildings. During this training day we will explore matters such as pre-inspection, inspection and post-inspection research, a look at templates and best use of templates (and appendices), use of online information and how to report on things seen, not seen and what to do when you do not know.

At the end of the day delegates will leave with a greater understanding of the nuances of preparing reports on historic buildings.

An advantage of this day is that the training is held in an historic building and town so that we can see live some of the matters under discussion, particularly during a town walk.

The number of places are limited to 10 for each day.

The ticket cost includes a report audit.  You can provide up to two completed reports and following the training day Stephen will hold a 1-2-1 coaching session with you (via Zoom) wherein we will discuss the reports and suggestions on how the reports might be improved.

The day provides c. 7 hours CPD.
